UNCOVERING THE PENUMBRA OF ITS POSSIBILITIES
Lights and shadows have always been an enchanting experience for both children and adults. Exploring its possibilities in teaching had me excited as an educator and the richness in learning it will lead the children.
After my training in Perth, Australia with Daniel Burton, co director of Educated by Nature, I can't wait to incorporate the things that I learned with him in our classrooms. Bringing the children's learning to the next level has never been this fun!
That's why this academic year, Light and Shadow rooms are set up in some of our centers.
During light and shadows explorations, children are given the opportunities to experiment with lights, create shadows and discover things in different dimensions and perspectives. The manipulation of light and the generation of shadows create a new element of experience, discovery, and creativity.
